Time for March 2025 passive income report. This month was much more productive then last month because I decided to take action instead of timing the market. With tariffs causing the stock market to shift downwards doing call option wasn’t as profitable. People tend to overreact to news affecting the economy and start selling their stocks. With all that said let’s take a look at my passive income break down.
This income increase around 36 dollars due to Vanguard ETFs paying quarterly dividends. Other than that the rest were mostly real estate stocks paying their normal monthly dividend.
Due to tariffs, the stock market has trend downwards in the past month. Even with the downwards trend I decided to do some call options to generate income. If they get executed then I can just turn it around and do put options. In any case, I wasn’t going to go another month without any call option income.
Below is a breakdown of all the premiums I earned for the month:
This will change depending on whether I use my savings to pay any upcoming bills.
No change here.

Final Thoughts:
March 2025 was much better due to taking risk with the market even though it was on a downward trend. I figured it is better to make around $200 per call option instead of timing the stock market hoping for $400 dollar plus premium per call option. Because by the time the stock market is done recovering then my call options would be expiring by that time. Which would give me the opportunity to do another call option to collect more premiums.
Although I wasn’t able to hit my goal of $5,000 passive income this month I was able to hit $3,000. I am hopeful that next month will be better.
